Artists under the Sun has been giving Joburgers the opportunity to get out in the open and enjoy the largest outdoor art exhibition of its kind in South Africa. On the first weekend of every month, over 100 artists display around 1 000 of their works on the rolling green lawns of Zoo Lake Park.

Printafoil thought this would be the perfect venue to hold a day out for the art kids from Ivory Park. It allowed them an opportunity not only to spend time in a green, outdoor environment, but also a chance to view some art and chat with the artists to get a first hand insight into their work.

The organisation provides a platform for emerging talent and discussions have taken place to handpick some of the kids to be included in an exhibition in the coming year.
